Busy Busy Gal
I have been a busy girl with some time consuming projects of late.
Just up my first feature film (5 min) made totally in Opensim. I built all the city sets, but of course I didn't realize I WAS building sets when I began construction seven months ago.
The characters in the bar scene are all NPCs. The male lead is indeed -- NOT me (OMG). I mean I am talented, but I certainly can't drive a bike, run two avatars AND film a moving vehicle.

YouTube (1080) link is here.
Also newish is a remake of Lost in the City. This consists of old footage mixed with new. The story changed a bit in the retelling -- as it should.

PG rated for partial nudity, this very arty film features work by Second Life artists.

I have also been making LOTS of tutorials (Windlight, Building, Photography) and you can find that channel here.
And that pretty much catches up any visitors wandering in :D.

100!
I'll take my tiny doses of fame and enjoy them. My Google+ site (primarily OpenSim and Blender tips and just used in actuality for three months or so) reached 100 followers.
Woot!

February - Films and Surprises
Well let's start with the surprise:
A nice kudo for sure.
Two new films went up last month, a very busy one for me. Both were made in OpenSim where I seem to be building a new world to film in. Who knew?
Now for the most part it is a build it yourself world there, but my city is looking REALLY nice and I am happy. I have plans to remake an early film -- on in the sense of the theme and music and locale. That should be fun.
Meanwhile here are the new films for 2015 (very short with the first actually being a background music video for my club dancers in OS.
And this was a quick video showing my homework making my NPC dancers. She was my first and actually got replaced by "better models" :D but a fun shoot.
Congratulations! You have been nominated for an Avi Choice Award! For the past few weeks Second Life residents have been submitting nominations, for the Arts categories, via the Avi Choice website. After a process of consolidation, you are a finalist and will be put up for voting. The specific category you have been nominated for is:
FAVORITE MACHINIMA PRODUCTION
A nice kudo for sure.

The New Year
A tardy gal I am reporting late that The Ghost in the Machine garnered two prizes at the UWA including the UWA award for integrating shots of the campus into the film.
Also extremely tardy, not by my making, I found that a lovely article on MOSP and my work was published in the "Journal of Gaming & Virtual Worlds" back in 2013.
So, caught up -- I give you 2015!
